Dermatologists recommend not sharing towels as a basic hygiene measure, as the fungi and bacteria that coexist on our skin remain and proliferate in the fabric due to heat and humidity. This contamination, imperceptible to the human eye, becomes evident when the towel starts to smell.

nod-bcn fabrics are produced with high-quality combed cotton combined with AmicorTM smart fiber, capable of permanently controlling contamination caused by a range of bacteria and fungi. Within the fiber's structure, there are reserves of an antimicrobial additive called zinc pyrithione, which protects the fabric from the proliferation of bacteria and fungi that can lead to hygiene problems, wash after wash.

Before first use, we recommend

  • A quick wash (40ºC).
  • Detergent is not necessary.
  • Half a glass of white vinegar (approx. 100ml) is enough to remove lint and will activate absorption capacity.

For subsequent washes...

  • Use your usual detergent. A small amount is sufficient.
  • We recommend using white vinegar.
